About the Role

Join 800 New Look as a Roofing & Home Improvement Outside Sales Representative and become part of a dynamic team dedicated to helping homeowners protect, improve, and enhance their homes. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated, personable, and driven sales professional to connect with homeowners throughout the Metro Detroit area and provide quality solutions tailored to their needs.

This is a 1099, commission-based position, giving you the flexibility to manage your own schedule while building your business and earning based on your sales performance. Successful candidates should be self-motivated, confident communicating with customers, comfortable working independently, and committed to providing exceptional service from the initial consultation through the completion of the project.

Responsibilities

• Run preset appointments.
• Identify and engage potential clients through networking and outreach efforts.
• Conduct on-site assessments to determine customer roofing needs.
• Present and promote roofing products and services to prospective customers.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to drive repeat business.
• Prepare and deliver accurate quotes and proposals in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with the installation team to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Stay informed about industry trends and competitor offerings.

Requirements

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Valid driver's license for client visits.
• Knowledge of roofing materials and installation processes is a plus.
• Self-motivated with a results-driven approach to sales.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in sales or construction is a bonus.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to go door to door. Retail leads provided.
