Roofing Repairman

A busy Southwest Suburban construction company is looking for a dedicated, hardworking Service Technician to start immediately. You will be responsible for performing an array of duties such as diagnosing roofing, siding, and window leaks, meeting with home owners, performing inspections, and completing repairs.

WHO WE ARE

We install roofs, siding, soffit, fascia, insulation, and windows, as well as performing repairs. We work all over the Chicagoland area.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

· Perform roofing and siding repairs as scheduled by our Customer Service Department

· Problem solve leaks and find their source

· Communicate with our office and homeowners

· Accurately log notes for each visit

· Work independently and manage your time

· Other duties as required

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

· 5 or more years of experience as a roofer

· Shingle and/or flat roofing experience

· General carpentry skills

· Valid driver’s license

· Good organizational and time management skills

· Problem solving

· Fluent in both writing and speaking English

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

· Being Bi-lingual (Spanish) a plus

· Siding installation and repairs

· Gutter installation and repairs

· Window installation and repairs

This is a full time, year round, position with benefits including vacation pay, health insurance, and a 401K program. Pay will be based on skill and experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
