Responsibilities

  • Focus on enforcing and coordinating daily safety measures.
  • Exercise a high level of communication and documentation.
  • Take an active role in managing crews and quality.
  • Assist with coordinating and participating in Weekly Subcontractor Meetings.
  • Maintain knowledge of commercial roofing tools, machines, and materials commonly used.
  • Serve as a substitute communicator between clients and Benton Roofing Team.
  • Identify problem areas and oversee the type and quantity of materials being installed.
  • Demonstrate top-notch communication through required Daily Reports.
  • Follow and implement company/client rules, regulations, and guidelines 100%.
  • Develop a positive workplace environment and motivation for all Team Members.

Requirements

  • Experience in a Foreman/leadership position in the commercial roofing industry.
  • Willingness to consistently learn and grow as a leader.
  • Enthusiasm for working outside in the elements and being physically active.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, problem solve, and think outside-the-box.
  • Knowledge of commercial roofing tools, machines, and materials commonly used.
  • Ability to look at blueprints, project specifications, safety documentation, and guidelines.
  • Must be an effective leader.
  • Ability to recognize strengths of team members and place them appropriately on job sites.
  • Ability to manage a flexible 40+ hour/week schedule.
  • Proficient with using technology such as smartphones, tablets, and online platforms.
  • Knowledge and experience with multiple types of commercial roofing systems.
  • Experience using roofing system application tools.
  • Experience with start to finish phases of commercial roofing installation.
  • OSHA Certification.
