Sales Representative - San Diego

Background

This is an opportunity to join a fast-growing company at an entry level! Compensation is based on a mixture of hourly and commission pay. The range listed is likely for the first year but you will have the opportunity to earn in excess of $100k per year in this position.

Responsibilities

• Cold calling to develop leads and meet new clients
• Coordination with Marketing Manager on marketing campaigns – phone/in-person
• Meet or exceed sales targets and goals
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues
• Inspect roofs to identify necessary maintenance/repairs – this position requires the use of ladders and physically inspecting roofs. Safety and handling procedures will be taught.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders
• Price projects and prepare proposals for customers
• Communicate with customers regarding pricing, progress, billing, etc.
• Coordinate meetings, workshops, and other project-related activities
• Assist in the identification and resolution of project issues and risks

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of roofing industry experience is required.
• Previous experience in business development or sales is preferred but not required
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
• Self-motivated and driven to achieve sales targets
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Business or related field is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $58,023.00 - $65,155.00 per year
