Roofing Sales Representative

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and driven Insurance Roofing Sales Representative to join our growing team. This role involves generating leads through door knocking, inspecting roofs for storm damage, working with homeowners through the insurance claims process, and closing roofing contracts.

The ideal candidate is confident speaking with homeowners, comfortable working outdoors, and able to climb roofs safely. Previous roofing or insurance restoration experience is preferred but not required for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Generate leads through door-to-door canvassing and self-generated marketing
• Inspect residential and commercial roofs for storm-related damage
• Assist homeowners through the insurance claims process
• Read and interpret insurance scopes and adjuster reports
• Meet with insurance adjusters during inspections when needed
• Build and maintain customer relationships throughout the project
• Track leads, appointments, and sales activity
• Maintain professionalism and strong communication with clients and team members

Requirements

• Must be able to climb roofs and work safely at heights
• Must have a reliable personal vehicle
• Ability to read and understand insurance scopes/Xactimate documents preferred
• Comfortable with door knocking and direct homeowner interaction
• Strong communication and sales skills
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
• Valid driver’s license
• Smartphone required for communication and CRM use

Preferred Experience

• Roofing sales experience
• Insurance restoration experience
• Door-to-door sales background
• Knowledge of roofing systems and supplements

Compensation

• Starting commission: 12% of gross sales
• Top performers can earn up to 16% of gross sales
• Uncapped earning potential
