What you’ll do

• Install, repair, and maintain roofing systems using various materials, including shingles, metal, and tiles.
• Apply siding materials with precision to enhance building exteriors while ensuring weather resistance.
• Read blueprints and schematics to accurately execute project plans and specifications.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for construction tasks while adhering to safety protocols.
• Conduct thorough inspections of roofs and siding to identify issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Engage in concrete forming, masonry work, and frame carpentry as needed for restoration projects.
• Collaborate with team members on remodeling projects, ensuring timely completion within budget constraints.
• Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks while maintaining a positive attitude throughout the workday.

Basic qualifications

• Proven experience in construction with a focus on roofing and siding installation.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely.
• Strong understanding of construction estimating practices to assess project costs accurately.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in carpentry, plumbing, welding, tile laying, caulking, trim carpentry, metal stud framing, and stucco application is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with restoration techniques and maintenance person experience will set you apart from other candidates.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $30.00 - $38.75 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 50 per week
