A bit about us

A well-established commercial roofing & waterproofing contractor in the Los Angeles market is looking to bring on a Sales Manager to lead, grow, and optimize their business development efforts. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in the Southern California commercial market, knows how to build relationships with GCs, PMs, Property Managers, and Owners, and can scale a book of business while coaching a sales team.

What You’ll Lead

  • Drive revenue growth across Commercial Roofing + Waterproofing scopes throughout Greater LA
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a small-but-growing sales team; refine process, KPIs & accountability
  • Build long-term relationships with GCs, RE owners, facility managers, and property managers
  • Oversee pipeline management, forecasting, proposals, and closing strategy
  • Partner closely with operations to ensure smooth project handoff and exceptional client experience
  • Identify new target accounts, verticals, and market opportunities
  • Lead bid strategy, pricing discussions, and competitive analysis
  • Represent the company at industry events, associations, and client meetings
  • Ensure the team follows a consistent sales process from lead → site visit → proposal → close

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of commercial roofing and/or waterproofing sales experience (required)
  • Strong network across Southern California with GCs, property groups, and facilities teams
  • Proven track record hitting sales targets and expanding territory revenue
  • Experience mentoring or managing sales reps (or ready for next step into leadership)
  • Understanding of roofing scopes (TPO, PVC, BUR, coatings, restoration, service)
  • Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and pipeline management skills
  • Driver mindset: competitive, organized, and able to thrive in a fast-moving environment
