Mattsson Roofing is a fully licensed and insured construction company serving Northern New Jersey, including Bergen, Passaic, and Essex counties.

Our sales approach is educational, consultative, and trust-driven, focused on building long-term relationships with homeowners—not transactional selling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet with homeowners to assess roofing needs and conduct on-site inspections
  • Educate customers on roofing systems, materials, warranties, and available options
  • Build trust and guide clients through the decision-making and buying process
  • Follow up on leads, proposals, and prior appointments to close sales
  • Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates
  • Develop and present professional proposals and contracts
  • Ensure pricing aligns with company margins and profitability goals
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project handoff

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of B2C sales experience required
  • Home improvement or roofing experience strongly preferred
  • Comfortable working in field conditions (ladders, attics, rooftops as needed)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient with laptops, smartphones, and CRM systems
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently and collaboratively
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required
