Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to identify and target potential clients within assigned territories.
- Conduct B2B sales activities including cold calling, lead generation, and direct outreach to prospective customers.
- Manage existing accounts through ongoing communication, upselling, and providing exceptional customer service.
- Perform product demos and technical presentations tailored to client needs, highlighting the value of roofing solutions.
- Utilize CRM software such as Salesforce to track leads, manage customer interactions, and analyze sales data for continuous improvement.
- Negotiate contracts and closing deals efficiently while maintaining positive client relationships.
- Collaborate with management on marketing strategies and territory management initiatives to maximize market penetration.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of industry trends, competitors, and new product offerings to stay ahead in the marketplace.
Requirements
- Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or technical sales within the roofing or construction industry preferred.
- Strong management skills with experience in territory management and account management.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and customer service skills.
- Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce or similar platforms for lead tracking and analysis.
- Ability to generate leads through cold calling, networking, and marketing efforts.
- Demonstrated success in upselling products or services and closing sales deals.
- Analytical skills for assessing market data and developing effective sales strategies.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to business development and managing multiple client accounts.
