We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Roofing Sales Representative to join our expanding team. This role involves developing new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and driving sales growth within designated territories. The ideal candidate will possess strong outside sales experience, excellent negotiation skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. You will play a key role in representing our roofing solutions to residential and commercial clients, utilizing advanced CRM tools and marketing strategies to maximize outreach and sales effectiveness.
Duties
- Generate leads through cold calling, networking, and territory management to expand the customer base.
- Conduct product demos and presentations to prospective clients, showcasing roofing solutions tailored to their needs.
- Manage existing accounts while identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional services.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with company goals, utilizing Salesforce and CRM software for tracking progress.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to close deals effectively while maintaining high customer satisfaction levels.
- Collaborate with management on business development initiatives, marketing campaigns, and territory expansion strategies.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, sales activities, and pipeline status within CRM systems.
- Provide ongoing customer service support post-sale to ensure client retention and referral business.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or technical sales within the roofing or construction industry preferred.
- Strong management skills with a track record of territory management and lead generation.
- Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce or similar platforms; proficiency in technology sales is a plus.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build lasting client relationships.
- Ability to analyze market trends and develop strategic approaches for territory growth.
- Experience in retail sales, inside sales, or direct sales is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct product demos and upsell effectively.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to business development and customer engagement.
