Sales Representative

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Roofing Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business, building strong relationships with homeowners, and guiding customers through the roofing sales process from start to finish. This role is commission-based and offers significant earning potential for high performers. This is a commission only position. We do lots of daily, weekly, and monthly cash bonuses!

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Generation & Prospecting
• Canvass neighborhoods, knock on doors, and generate leads through direct outreach.
• Network with local businesses and homeowners to identify new opportunities.
• Utilize CRM tools to manage and follow up with leads.
• Customer Consultation
• Perform roof inspections and assess storm damage when applicable.
• Present roofing solutions, product options, and pricing to homeowners in a clear, professional manner.
• Build trust with customers by explaining the installation process, warranties, and insurance claim procedures.
• Sales & Negotiation
• Achieve monthly and annual sales goals.
• Prepare and present detailed proposals and contracts.
• Guide customers through re-roofing process.
• Secure signed agreements and collect deposits.
• Project Coordination
• Communicate project details with the production team to ensure smooth job scheduling.
• Serve as the point of contact for customers during the project lifecycle.
• Address customer concerns promptly and professionally.
• Reporting & Follow-up
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and job details.
• Provide weekly sales reports to management.
• Follow up with customers after project completion to ensure satisfaction and request referrals.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required!
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• HIGHLY motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Ability to climb ladders and inspect roofs safely.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Basic understanding of roofing systems and insurance claims (training provided if needed).

Work Environment

This role involves both in-field work (door-to-door canvassing, roof inspections) and office/remote work (proposal preparation, follow-up calls). The position may require working evenings or weekends to meet with homeowners on their schedule.
