Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Roofing Manager to lead and oversee large-scale roofing projects within the commercial construction sector. This role is pivotal in managing all aspects of roofing operations, from project planning and scheduling to team management and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive approach, exceptional leadership skills, and a comprehensive understanding of construction processes related to roofing systems. Your expertise will drive project success, ensure safety standards are met, and foster strong client relationships, all while maintaining a focus on quality and efficiency.

Duties

• Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of commercial roofing projects, ensuring adherence to project schedules and budgets.
• Manage and supervise roofing teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure high-quality workmanship and safety compliance on site.
• Develop detailed project schedules using construction management software such as Primavera P6 or HeavyBid, integrating schematics and blueprints for accurate execution.
• Oversee construction estimating processes, including cost management, resource allocation, and procurement strategies.
• Ensure all projects comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards related to roofing systems.
• Review blueprints, schematics, contracts, and technical drawings to verify project scope and specifications.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders to facilitate seamless communication, progress updates, and problem resolution throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing complex infrastructure or commercial roofing projects within a construction environment.
• Strong proficiency with construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Civil 3D, HeavyBid, or similar tools for project scheduling and cost control.
• Deep understanding of construction estimating, blueprint reading, contract management, and construction regulatory compliance.
• Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively in a fast-paced construction management role while maintaining high safety standards.
• Excellent skills in project coordination, schedule development, and construction schedule coordination to meet deadlines efficiently.
• Knowledge of heavy civil or infrastructure projects including managing construction budgets and ensuring quality standards are met.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks across multiple projects simultaneously.
• Construction site experience with a focus on roofing systems—familiarity with schematics and technical drawings related to roofing installation.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
